Jewel Heist Mystery Starts 2016 for VJI Team
Kennesaw, January 25, 2016 ─ VJI tax experts for manufacturers started 2016 by kicking off the year’s first staff meeting with a team-building escape room game. Getting together at Urban Escape in Alpharetta, the group tried to solve a jewel-heist mystery game that is based on virtual escape rooms that have been popular online for years.
VJI President Attends IPT One-Day Seminar
Kennesaw, December 29, 2015 ― VJI President and CEO Valerie Jordan attended the Institute for Professionals in Taxation® (IPT) Georgia One-Day Tax Seminar held at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North hotel on November 20, 2015. These annual events are held in 20 states for the purpose of keeping tax professionals aware of current and emerging tax issues specific to their individual states.
Jordan Attends SEATA Fall 2015 Industry Council Meeting
Kennesaw, December 14, 2015 ─ VJI President and CEO Valerie Jordan attended the SEATA Fall 2015 Industry Council Meeting held in Atlanta, Georgia on November 5, 2015. This meeting allows attendees to interact formally and informally with tax representatives from member states, including state tax commissioners who take part in a roundtable discussion.

Kennesaw, August 24, 2015 ─ Senior Tax Consultant Matt Scott returned to Georgia from Redmond, Washington after attending the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) Manufacturing and Related Industries SALT Workshop held at Nintendo of America headquarters on July 27-28.
