Kennesaw, December 9, 2016 ― VJI Client Development Manager, Courtney Cole, attended the Women in Manufacturing Holiday Event at The Cheesecake Factory. After lunch, all the ladies perused locally-manufactured goods at the Shoppe Artisan holiday market across the street at the Cobb Galleria to support local manufactures. As a token of appreciation for membership Women in Manufacturing gave everyone at the luncheon a wooden coaster that was hand made by a local Georgia manufacturer.

Public Safety Week Highlighted at Latest Cobb Breakfast

Kennesaw, October 3, 2016 ―In honor of Public Safety Week, VJI Client Development Manager Courtney Cole attended the October First Monday Breakfast hosted by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. The breakfast kicked off the week by allowing the community to show appreciation for all members of public safety personnel within Cobb County. The 2016 Public Safety Employee of the Year award, individual and group awards of Merit, Distinguished Achievement award, and Medal of Valor were all presented at the event.

The breakfast was held at the Cobb Galleria Centre and the event’s guest speaker was CEO and President of Georgia Public Broadcasting, Teya Ryan. Her resume, which consists of several leadership roles at PBS, CNN, TBS, and now GPB Media, is impressive.

Kennesaw, July 15, 2016 ―VJI Client Development Manager Courtney Cole attended the Cobb Young Professionals Leadership Luncheon on July 12, which featured Star 94.1’s radio celebrities Jeff Dauler and Jenn Hobby. Held at the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Marietta, the luncheon was followed by a meet-and-greet event along with a tour of Star 94.1’s studio.

Cole Visits Safety Village Workshop

Kennesaw, July 7, 2016 ― VJI Client Development Manager Courtney Cole attended the Cobb Young Professionals Public Safety Workshop at the Cobb County Safety Village in Marietta on July 7. There are only 20 safety villages within the United States and Cobb County is the only such village in Georgia. Established in 2009, the 8-acre village provides hands-on safety education to children grades K-12, and has an average of 22,000 students pass through it each school year. Safety education classes are also held for senior citizens to attend.
