Kennesaw, September 13, 2016 ―VJI Client Development Manager Courtney Cole attended the First Monday Breakfast,  hosted by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, on September 13. The breakfast was held at the Cobb Galleria Centre and the event’s guest speaker was CEO and President of Georgia Public Broadcasting, Teya Ryan. Her resume, which consists of several leadership roles at PBS, CNN, TBS, and now GPB Media, is impressive. “It was inspiring to learn everything GPB has accomplished under Ryan’s leadership,” says Cole. During her speech, Ryan mentioned that a new online educational resource center where Cobb county teachers can access and download Georgia-approved curricula is only the beginning of what she started at GPB. The event program also included a ceremony honoring Health Heroes. “In addition to hearing Teya speak, I had the privilege of meeting and speaking with Kristy Brooks of Brasfield & Gorrie and Dr. Kathy Schwaig, Dean of Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University” says Cole.
