Kennesaw, October 3, 2014 ─ VJI President and CEO Valerie H. Jordan attended the 10th Annual Tribute to Our Quiet Heroes luncheon held at the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta Hotel on September 27. The event included emcee and retired 11Alive News anchor Jill Becker; hostess and event founder Chris Glavine, CURE Childhood Cancer Executive Director Kristin Connor, and singers Chris Cauley (The Voice finalist) and his wife, Sandra.

“I was invited to attend the event as a guest of a member of the CURE Childhood Cancer Board of Directors,” says Jordan. “It was a lovely and touching event.”

Coinciding with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the annual luncheon focuses on recognizing the courage and strength of mothers who have children that are being treated for cancer.
