Training

VJI can provide your accounting and purchasing staff with a training seminar that will give them sales and use tax information that they can use to improve their decisions on transactions involving sales and use taxes. The training is tailored for the type of manufacturing processes used and the state in which the manufacturing takes place. If possible, our staff will tour a facility before the seminar so that the training will address unusual or unique processes.
Our training is always provided free to clients who retain us for overpayment reviews. These training seminars are led by the VJI tax consultant who conducted the review. In addition to general sales and use tax issues, the training covers very specific issues that are discovered during the sales and use tax overpayment review.
VJI provides a training manual for all seminar attendees that is a valuable resource when they have questions concerning sales and use tax compliance issues.
