Jordan and Cole Network at Salesforce Basecamp

Kennesaw, March 22, 2017 ― VJI President, Valerie Jordan, and VJI Client Development Manager, Courtney Cole attended the powerful half-day growth extravaganza, Small Business Basecamp, sponsored by Salesforce. The pop-up event allowed an opportunity to receive hands-on advice from other business owners in Atlanta about growing a business, running your business faster and building strong connections along the way. Key presentations included topics on leveraging community resources and managing the entrepreneurial world as well as a special presentation on Life, Leadership, and Success from former Atlanta Falcon’s coach Dan Reeves.

“This event was very well done by Salesforce. For me the highlight was hearing Dan Reeves’ stories about management in the NFL. He had interesting stories and examples spanning over his career,” said Jordan. In addition to benefitting from hearing Mr. Reeves’ formal presentation, Jordan and Cole enjoyed a private conversation with Mr. Reeves while networking after the event. “It was an extra treat to be able to talk briefly with Dan Reeves and have the opportunity to be photographed with him,” added Jordan.

“The pop-event was informative and allowed me an opportunity to network with manufacturers that have sales and use tax concerns. We plan to meet soon so that VJI can learn more about their sales and use tax needs and develop a plan to assist them with those needs,” said Cole.

The event was held at the beautiful venue, The Estate, in Atlanta, GA.
