Kennesaw, July 15, 2016 ―VJI Client Development Manager Courtney Cole attended the Cobb Young Professionals Leadership Luncheon on July 12, which featured Star 94.1’s radio celebrities Jeff Dauler and Jenn Hobby. Held at the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Marietta, the luncheon was followed by a meet-and-greet event along with a tour of Star 94.1’s studio.
“It was very inspirational hearing Jeff and Jenn speak about what they went through when making the decision to move to Star 94.1 after being on the air at the Q100 Bert Show for 10 years,” said Cole. “They encouraged everyone in the luncheon audience to really think about their future, and not remain in a job or career that they are not happy with. Jeff explained he was wrapped up in just planning his life one week to the next, but then someone asked him where he saw himself in 5 years. That question was a wake-up call for him to start paying attention to signs that were right in front of him to leave Q100 and become happy.”
Cole explained that Dauler and Hobby both said they are very fortunate for their experiences at Q100 because they learned new things and grew a lot professionally. “Ever since Jeff and Jenn came to Star 94.1, they have made the talk show more personable by connecting with their listeners. The Jeff and Jenn Show started last March in 11th place in their ratings category, but since then, they’ve moved up to 4th place,” she said.
