Kennesaw, September 20, 2014 ― V Jordan, Inc. warmly welcomes a new senior tax consultant, Matt Scott. Matt graduated from the University of Georgia with a master’s degree in accounting and a concentration in taxation. He worked as an accountant and auditor for Nichols, Cauley & Associates where he conducted audits for a variety of clients including banks, government agencies, and private citizens. He was also an accounting instructor at Heart of Georgia Technical College, specializing in basic and advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software instruction. Matt was a junior tax consultant at IntegriTax and was a tax analyst at Windward Tax. “Matt has conducted sales and use tax overpayment reviews for numerous multi-state companies including auto parts, construction materials, packaging, and pharmaceutical manufacturers,” says VJI Tax Director Chris Wiggins. “His accounting skills and rich experience in conducting overpayment reviews for large clients adds more strength to VJI as we look ahead to working with ever larger and more complex projects for our multi-state clients.”
