Kennesaw, March 24, 2017 ― VJI’s Client Development Manager Courtney Cole gave back to education and manufacturing by representing Women in Manufacturing at the 13th annual Georgia Career Expo. The two-day event was held at the Georgia International Convention Center and allowed students to interact with professionals in the areas of automotive, aviation, construction, utility contracting, highway contracting, electrical contracting, mechanical contracting, energy, mining and more. The different hands-on displays allowed students to experience varied materials and equipment used within each industry represented at the expo. “I was very excited to represent Women in Manufacturing, and educate young girls about the benefits of choosing a career in the manufacturing industry,” says Cole. In addition to the career expo, middle school and high school students participated in the Georgia SkillsUSA Conference.
